In North Korea, officials will be executed for poor management during the flood

North Korea authorities have taken cruel measures in response to a recent flood that happened in the province of Chagang. Kim Jong -in, the DPRK leader, ordered to execute up to 30 officials who, in his opinion, failed to fulfill their responsibilities to prevent the consequences of a natural disaster.

Floods and landslides were killed in the province. North Korea leader Kim Jong -in said after the floods that officials would be responsible for human deaths, and seemed to have taken care of this threat.

North Korea officials noted that "those who have caused unacceptable losses will be severely punished."

20-30 officials were executed simultaneously at the end of the last month. It is reported that law enforcement officers detained the party secretary of the province of Chagan Kan Pon Hun.

Kan Pont Hun is also the former Deputy Director of the Ammunition Department and accompanied Kim Jong -in during his visit to the scene.

The northwestern province of the country has recently undergone a devastating flood. Thousands of inhabitants are left without a roof over their heads, there are many dead and victims.

North Korea state media reported last month that recent heavy rains have destroyed 4,100 houses, 7410 acres of agricultural land and many administrative buildings and structures. Roads and flooded railways were also destroyed in the northwestern city of Sinujui and the neighboring city of Uiji.

Then Kim Jong -in urged the power to "strictly punish" those who, in his opinion, neglected his responsibilities to prevent natural disasters and caused "even those casualties that could not be allowed."
