The Ukrainian Airline SkyUp Airlines is expanding its presence in Europe. On April 8, the carrier launched regular flights from Kishinev International Airport to a number of popular European destinations. The first cities where the planes went were Paris and Lisbon. This was reported by the company press service.
In the conditions of closed airspace over Ukraine through the war, SkyUp continues active activity and finds new opportunities for development. The company expands the geography of flights, opens new routes and provides the work of hundreds of Ukrainians working in the aviation industry.
As part of the new flight program, SkyUp offers flights from Chisinau to the following European cities:
-
Paris
-
Lisbon
-

Stockholm
The company also announced the launch of the winter program for 2025-2026 in the same directions.
Kishinov is located near the Ukrainian border and is one of the nearest international airports for the inhabitants of the South and the Center of Ukraine. This makes the capital of Moldova a convenient point of departure to Europe for Ukrainian citizens who do not currently have access to domestic flights due to war.
SkyUp has been actively developing directions from Chisinau for several months, announcing both seasonal and regular flights. The company also cooperates with tourist operators, offering convenient holiday packages in popular resorts.
According to airline representatives, demand for new flights is increasing, and the expansion of the flight grid is part of the long -term SkyUp strategy to support Ukrainian passengers abroad.
