After attempting three men with grenades to invade the police department in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, and criminal proceedings in the case with signs of terrorism were initiated in the country.
As noted, the case was initiated "upon the invasion of three persons into the police department of the administrative district of the norm, threats and explosion in the General Directorate for Investigation of Crimes Against the Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Safety of the Investigative Committee of Armenia."
Investigative and procedural, as well as investigative actions are being carried out to find out all the circumstances of the attack.
It is not known what the requirements were the attackers and why they tried to get into the police department.
Two of the attackers suffered shrapnel injuries as a result of a grenade explosion, they were sustained.
The third man armed with a grenade detained special forces after long negotiations with him. Negotiations were personally conducted by the police head of the ARAM Ovansyan and the head of the criminal police Vardan Vardanian.
