Ukraine has reduced Russia's "safe space" by 16% with the help of a new US permit

Restricted US resolution on Russia's blows using Western weapons allowed Ukraine to reduce the "safe space" area

Such data have published analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War.

"The limited change in the policy of the Joe Baiden administration, which allows Ukraine to use the US weapons provided for some military purposes in a small territory within the Russian Federation, reduced the size of Russian land shelter by only 16%," the statement said.

However, as experts have noted, this US policy allows the aggressor to store at least 84% of "safe space" as Ukraine is forbidden to use anti -aircraft missile systems in the rest of Russia.

According to analysts, today Ukrainian troops can affect military goals within the reach of the reactive systems of volley fire in Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions. However, the defense forces cannot be killed for Russian military purposes deeper in the rear or in other areas of Kursk and Bryansk regions, which are also in the reach of the RSSU.

"The statements of US officials also indicate that Ukrainian forces may be restricted in the task of strikes for Russian military purposes that do not actively participate in terrestrial attacks and blows in Ukraine," the ISW report reads.

At the same time, the Institute emphasized that the governments of Western countries are currently discussing the permission of the Armed Forces to use their weapons to strikes Russian rear and deep rear districts in the Russian Federation.
