Ukraine is actively preparing the infrastructure of aerodromes for the reception of multi-purpose F-16 fighters. According to the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk, the work on the integration of these aircraft into the Defense Forces of Ukraine is conducted both in Ukraine and within the framework of the International Coalition of the Air Force. The work involves not only the adaptation of aerodromes, but also the training of pilots and engineers. Ukraine hopes to complete the preparation of infrastructure by the end of 2024 as part of the fast track program, which covers the evaluation of aerodromes and the training of personnel on F-16 aircraft. The preparation is carried out in the conditions of constant use of aerodrome infrastructure for combat missions.
