Energy Minister of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko warned that the future heating season will be difficult because of a difficult gas production situation. According to him, this year will have to import much more fuel to meet the needs of the population and stable winter.
Galushchenko noted that despite the difficulties in the energy sector, the state will provide the necessary volumes of blue fuel for heating.
“We will be provided with gas to the extent that it will be necessary for the passing of the heating season ... on gas production, the repositories - the situation is difficult. We will import much more gas this year, ”the minister said.
This means that Ukraine intensifies gas purchases abroad to compensate for the deficit of domestic production. At the same time, the authorities call citizens to use energy and prepare for possible calls during the cold.
