Ukraine received another 3.5 billion euros from the European Union

Ukraine received 3.5 billion euros from the European Union within the Ukraine Facility mechanism. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal reported this in his Telegram channel on April 1. He noted that these funds will help the country maintain macroeconomic stability, finance social programs and continue reforms on the way to EU membership.

According to Shmigal, the total financial assistance provided by the European Union within this mechanism has already reached 19.6 billion euros. He expressed gratitude to the European Commission for the support of Ukraine during this difficult time and for its recognition of the country's efforts in the implementation of reforms.

Financial assistance from the EU is aimed at covering the budget deficit, maintaining economic stability and implementation of programs that contribute to the modernization of state institutions. Ukraine Facility is a long -term financial support program that allows Ukraine to receive the necessary funds on the conditions of implementation of certain reforms and economic obligations.
