According to Forbes, Ukraine defends its leadership in the use of drones in military operations, despite the significant resources that Russia has for the production of these technologies. In the First War of Drones in History, which continues in the east of Ukraine, the country demonstrated impressive technological achievements and efficiency in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The publication cites several reasons why Ukraine wins Russia in the "First War of Drones in History":
- In Ukraine, volunteer startups were quickly integrated into the state supply system, while in the Russian Federation soldiers on the front line are forced to look for themselves and cooperate with enthusiasts in the rear.
- Many Russian business trips do not understand the values of drones and resist their widespread use, which inhibits the development of this technology at a tactical level.
- The poor quality of the assembly and the lack of standardization are made by many of the Russian drones are unsuitable for use.
- Up to 50% of Russian drones die from their own systems of EW, which, for their part, are used chaotically without any system.
- All these factors lead to the fact that Russian operators often have zero efficiency, launching 30-40 drones a day without hit. Ukrainian operators reach 20-50% of hits.
