President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the most difficult situation on the front is currently observed in directions near Kurakhov and Pokrovsk. After the meeting of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, which took place on November 11, Zelensky announced a number of strategic decisions to strengthen defense in these areas. After a detailed analysis of the situation, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces initiated a significant strengthening of defense forces to support Ukrainian positions.
Zelensky also noted that the Ukrainian military is holding back a 50,000th group of Russian troops in the Kursk region, preventing them from approaching the Ukrainian border on this area of the front. This coordinated confrontation is strategic, allowing you to focus resources and strength in the most vulnerable areas.
In addition to changes in the forefront, important measures are aimed at increasing air defense (air defense). The President has announced an increase in the number of mobile fire groups in the regions that are most vulnerable to Russian shelling. These groups will receive improved equipment and increased preparation, which will respond faster to the threats of the air.
Zelensky emphasized the use of promising technologies to create a comprehensive program of protection against managed enemy aircraft. Ukraine is working on the development of its own managed aircraft, as well as concludes three -year contracts with drones and other weapons to provide stable supplies of the necessary equipment.
During the meeting, the rates also discussed the prospects of the Ukrainian missile program.
