Ukraine and Russia can make the greatest exchange of prisoners of war for the next week. The exchange, which is expected, will probably be held on the principle of "thousand for a thousand", as the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov in an interview for TSN reported.
Kirill Budanov stated that he was hopeing for the exchange next week. According to him, the lists of persons for exchange will be made depending on the possibility and willingness of both parties: "Whom we can pick up, we will be taken away, and also give it," he said.
Budanov also expressed confidence that the exchange of prisoners of war on the principle of "one thousand per thousand" should not be complicated, despite the complexity of the process. This will be an important step for the release of large groups of captive soldiers and can be one of the largest operations for the exchange of prisoners since the beginning of the war.
