Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga stated that Russia should immediately transfer to Ukraine its "Memorandum" if it has already prepared proposals for ceasefire. He wrote about it on the social network H.
"Why wait Monday? If the Russians have finally developed their 'Memorandum' - after ten days of reflection and blows against Ukraine - it can be handed over to us immediately," Sibiga said.
He stressed that Ukraine expects Russia to comply with agreements and prompt submission of proposals for discussion, so as not to disrupt the next planned meeting.
"Only a properly prepared meeting can produce real results," the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added.
The Ukrainian side believes that the delay from Russia may indicate a reluctance to participate in constructive dialogue. The transmission of a memorandum would be an important step in preparing the next round of negotiations.
