Ukrainians complain massively about a violation during mobilization

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets reported a significant increase in the number of citizens' appeals to violate their rights during mobilization measures. During 2024, the Ombudsman's office received 1560 such complaints. Lubinets stated this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on May 1, reports UNN.

According to him, it is about the actions of employees of territorial centers of acquisition and social support (TCC), who, according to citizens, violate legal rights and freedoms during mobilization procedures.

"In 2024, I received 1560 appeals from citizens of Ukraine who believed that their rights were violated during the mobilization measures," Lubinets said.

The Ombudsman also expressed anxiety with the tendency to worsen the situation in this area. "In my opinion, the situation is deteriorating," he emphasized.

The Ombudsman's office urges to comply with the current legislation and guarantee the rights of every citizen, even in martial law.
