In Ukraine, tariffs are expected to increase at once a number of utilities - first of all, heating and hot water are rising, the NBU is forecast.
Based on the forecast, the cancellation of the corresponding moratorium on raising tariffs can only be expected after the martial law is completed. The National Bank also emphasized that the increase will be gradual and will stretch over time. However, the NBU did not specify how much the tariff will increase. It is only said that they will increase up to an economically sound level.
"The forecast provides for the maintenance of the moratorium on separate tariffs of housing and communal services (in particular, heating and hot water) until the end of martial law. The gradual bringing of tariffs is expected to be expected to be in line with the economically reasonable level for several years," the message reads.
In addition, the National Bank noted that "high security risks" in Ukraine are expected to maintain unchanged tariffs for most utilities. However, what kind of services it is said is not specified.
The regulator also noted that they will still be adjusted for these services. Although "the terms and parameters of this are the area of uncertainty of the forecast."
