The Foreign Minister of Latvia Baiba broke out that some allies of Ukraine do not exclude the possibility of using their weapons to strikes in Russia. They expressed their position along with new weapons.
Earlier, the event was strongly opposed to the use of foreign assistance for attacks on military facilities in Russia, but now the change of approach begins.
"There are already countries that gave Ukraine without restrictions," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.
My brother explained that it was not publicly announced, just like some other decisions of Ukrainian allies. She noted that there are things that are best done without publicity to achieve better results.
"Of course, not everything is announced in public, and it is better not to say it aloud to a certain time. The main thing is the impact on the battlefield. After all, there is a choice: whether to talk about something loud, or just to do what is needed," she said.
Latvia Foreign Minister is convinced that Ukraine has the right to attack military facilities in Russia, if used for blows to Ukrainian territory. She stressed that such weapons were not prohibited by international law.
It should be reminded that German Chancellor Olaf Scholt is still opposed to the transfer of Taurus missiles because of the experience that they can be used for attacks on Russia that does not meet the interests of Germany.
At the same time, US President Joe Biden secretly signed a Decree on the transfer of the ATACMS long -range missiles that have already been used for strikes in the Crimea.
