The Ukrainian defense forces plan to continue special operations in the annexed Crimea in order to increase pressure on Russia . Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said in an interview with Financial Times.
According to Budanov, blows on the occupied peninsula should be continued, in particular, with the use of air attacks, marine perch drones and conducting secret special operations. The intelligence manager stressed that the Ukrainian units had previously entered the territory of Crimea.
Budanov emphasized that the active actions of special forces will be aimed at destroying the logistics of the Armed Forces of Russia in the Crimea. He defined this direction as one of the priorities of the relevant missions.
Recall that American General Ben Gogess noted that Crimea is the most important territory for Ukraine captured by Moscow and called it a "decisive territory". In his assessment, he states that control over Crimea can determine the win or lose in the war.
