Although the franchises are becoming more popular with Ukrainians, the franchise market in Ukraine remains not as filled as in many other countries, says Kateryna Benovskaya, co -founder of the consulting company MOST FRANCHING. According to her, the demand for franchises has already been formed in Ukraine, which will actively manifest itself after the events in the international arena.
The head of the Directorate of the Franchising Association of Ukraine, Andriy Krivonos, confirms this trend, noting that even before the pandemic in Ukraine, up to a thousand active participants in the industry. Now this figure was about 500-600 participants, which indicates that the franchise market in the country is far from saturated.
Experts believe that after overcoming the complex challenges of the Ukrainian modernity, the franchise industry can double. Kateryna Benovskaya defines the year 2024 as the period when franchising will be actively developing, new franchises will appear, and existing networks will expand.
"Many partners are already expressing the desire to open new points next year. This testifies to active preparation and interest in franchising among entrepreneurs," Benovskaya adds.
It is noted that the popularity of franchising in Ukraine is associated with economic uncertainty when entrepreneurs avoid risk and choose already spent business models with a ready brand and support of a fanchizer.
Technological trends also determine the future franchising. In 2024, the use of neurotrans and artificial intelligence to create and develop franchise networks is expected. Franchising automation, use of Franchising Management System and other platforms, as well as new technologies to ensure the continuity of business work in the conditions of possible blackouts are also included in numerous trends that bring together representatives of the franchise industry in Ukraine.
