According to the spokesman of the National Security Council in the White House, John Kirby, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has never asked for the introduction of NATO troops into the territory of Ukraine.
It is noted that Zelensky did not make a direct request for this, but he is constantly seeking the tools and opportunities necessary for the protection of the country. Kirby stressed that the US Congress should approve additional funding for Ukraine to continue support from the US and its coalition, which consists of more than 50 countries.
Biden President also stated initially that US troops would not participate in the war in Ukraine. Zelensky does not ask for it, but focuses on the need for material and technical resources for military protection.
Military analyst Vladislav Seleznev noted that to succeed on the front requires increased mobilization and technological breakthrough. He noted that nowadays the shortage of precision weapons and the lack of experienced military specialists are an obstacle to the promotion of Ukrainian troops forward.
Seleznyov also noted that without a comprehensive combination of different types of weapons, success will be difficult. Expert Oleksandr Kovalenko added that not only ammunition, but also modern aviation, reconnaissance equipment, radio electronic wrestling and other means for successful fighting are needed.
Both experts believe that the achievement of a technological breakthrough is key to successful defense. Kovalenko stressed that favorable conditions for this are in the presence of partners with appropriate resources, but on its own it will not be possible to achieve such a breakthrough.
