Ukrenergo successfully restored the equipment at the central substation in Ukraine

NEC "Ukrenergo" restored the operation of some equipment at the substation in the center of Ukraine and repaired the power transmission line in the south.

Today, the 330 kV overhead line was returned to operation in the southern region after planned, turned into an emergency repair due to hostilities. In the central region, part of the equipment at the substation was restored, which increased the reliability of electricity transmission through main networks in one of the regions, the company reported.

In the front-line area, 10 pylons were damaged and wires were stolen on the 330 kV line, which was under emergency repair due to combat damage. The theft was reported to the police.

In the south, the 330 kV overhead line was disconnected due to damage during hostilities. Emergency recovery work will begin after obtaining permission from the military.

The dispatch center currently does not forecast a deficit in the power system during the day. However, due to the cooling, the evening maximum consumption on December 5 increased by 1.8% compared to December 4.

Electricity was not exported on December 6. Imports are planned for the evening hours from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova with a total volume of 480 MWh.
