After the winter, Ukraine moved part of the air defense from the infrastructure to the front, which allowed the Russian Federation to strike a massive impact on power plants, writes CNN.
"We thought that if winter is over, we may be able to use the air defense system in other places," says Olena Pavlenko, President of the Ukrainian Energy Analytical Center DIXI Group.
Now the strikes are more accurate and concentrated, dozens of rockets and drones are being wrapped on one goal.
"Their tactics have changed - unfortunately, not for the better for us," said Svetlana Grinchuk, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
"In such a short period of time - in a few weeks of these massive Russian attacks - almost all of our annual efforts to restore and repair energy objects were destroyed in a few days, as a result of several attacks," - said Hrynchuk.
