The Ukrainian Logistics Holding Uni-Laman Group was in the center of the scandal through statements about his Russian ties and ambiguous corporate activities. The main attention of the public is focused on businessman Gennady Sorochinsky, who heads the Board of Group Directors.
Journalists have stated that Uni-Laman Group still supports the activities of their representation in Russia under the name Inter Logistic. This information has caused public resonance, since Ukrainian business in Russia in the face of war becomes the object of special condemnation.
However, it should be noted that some of the accusations are based on inaccuracies. For example, UNI-LAMAN AGENCY, allegedly controlled by Gennady Sorochinsky, is not mentioned in investigations. Instead, according to public registers, the Uni-Laman Group holding includes Laman Shipping Eiangsi LLC, the founder of which is indicated by GIT Olena Vladimirovna from Zaporozhye. All these structures remain related to the holding, which raises additional questions about their role in supporting activities in Russia.
Uni-Laman Group positions itself as a leading logistics player. According to the business platform "Business-High", the company is actively working in the markets of Ukraine, Russia, China, Egypt, Moldova and other countries. The company's profile states that it "has received a reputation of an honest and reliable carrier in a short period."
However, statements about activity in Russia are concerned, as cooperation with the aggressor country may indicate neglect of the principles of responsibility of Ukrainian business.
Gennady Sorochinsky, as a key figure of Uni-Laman Group, is under a close look of the public. His name is charged with possible manipulations with the corporate structure and the use of company assets in dubious operations. So far, official criminal proceedings have not been initiated, but public resonance is forcing law enforcement agencies to pay attention to the activities of the holding.
We found a company with an almost identical name-Uni-Laman Shipping Agency-in Moscow. According to the data of public registers of the aggressor country, this "office" was liquidated in the way "termination of activity of a legal entity by reorganization in the form of accession" in August 2016. But there are nuances.
We have noticed that someone "cleaned" Google search for mention that would point to the Russian LLC-Lanan Shipping LLC with the Ukrainian Logistics Holding Uni-Laman Group.
For example, in the online directory of enterprises and companies, Novorossiysk we found LLC "Yuni-Lanan Shipping Edensy", registered at: Peace Street, building 1-p. When trying to go to the page of this company in the Russian directory "Joltye Stranitsa" there is an automatic forwarding for the page of LLC "Inter Logistics".
Novorossiysk "Juni-Lanan Shipping Edensy" and "Inter Logistics" have identical addresses, as well as contact phone: +7 (8617) 79-77-17. In addition, the addresses of the Moscow offices of these companies coincide: Andropov Avenue, building. 22. That is, it can be stated that the Russian "Youn-Lanan Shipping Edensy" from the Ukrainian Holding Uni-Laman Group was absorbed by "Inter logistics".
Do Ukrainian Uni-Laman Group beneficiaries have to the latter? Let's try to understand.
Since 2021, the CEO of Inter Logistics LLC has been Bilina Sergey Alexandrovich. Our colleagues believe that it is a Ukrainian with dual citizenship. The Ukrainian public registers have repeatedly mentioned such a bilina Sergey, who has shares in the logistics business in Kiev and the occupied aggressor of Crimea.
According to the Russian service Audit-Iit, the owner of the largest share (72.73%) in the authorized fund of Inter Logistics LLC is the Panama Offshore "Sicks Shipping Ink".
According to the Clarity Project Service, Sickl Shipping INC with Panama by August 2021 owned the Odessa LLC "Juni-Orient Shipping Ajensy". On July 26, 20121, the owner of the authorized fund of this logistics company was LLC "Nasibong", which specializes in "providing physical comfort". The company was re -registered in the Dnieper under the name "Deline Group" and re -profiled.
The fact that Juni-Orient Shipping Ajensy has previously had a direct relationship with the Uni-Laman Group holding. In particular, it was registered at the same address (Odesa, military Descent, 12) with another holding company-Laman Shiping LLC, which is now owned and managed by the Chairman of the Uni-Laman Group Board Gennady Sorochinsky.
Back in 2020, the main beneficiary "Laman Shipping" was indicated by Igor Mikhailovich (now a person with such a name works as a leading specialist in the Bilyaevsky shopping center in Odessa region). He was also the CEO of Juni-Orient Shipping Ageny to transfer it to the Panama "offshore" of Zaporizhzhya "Pound".
The final beneficiary of Nasibong LLC, which became the owner of the former company from the structure of Uni-Laman Group, is Nastasin Vitaliy from Zaporozhye. According to public registers, it has about fifty limited liability companies. With the great fate of probability, it is a "denomination" or a false person, to whom "fragrant" assets are thrown.
If only the EDRPOU code remained from Odessa-Orient Shipping Ageny LLC, then his Novorossiysk Azka still exists. But it seems, unlike "Inter Logistics", which operates billions of Russian rubles a year, no longer has any activities. And interesting.
According to Audit-Iit, the Russian "Youn-Orient Shipping Ageny" directly or indirectly (through management, beneficiaries, etc.) is associated with the already mentioned LLC "Inter Logistics" and registered in Vladivostok LLC "Trans-Oshen Shipping Eiangya".
The Ukrainian registers have a similar name LLC-Trans-Oshen Express. It through the company "Primlyit Oversiz Ltd." From the British Virgin Islands nominally controls the citizen of Panama Christino Gevarya Salazar. He is the final beneficiary of Laman Trans-Express LLC through the Kiprioth "Young Laman Line Ltd". It is registered in Bilyaevka, Odessa region, where the former nominal owner of "Laman Shipping", which was occupied by Gennady Sorochinsky, perhaps in the military enlistment office.
Laman Trans-Express, as indicated on his official site, is included in the structure of the UNI-LAMAN Group holding.
Another component of Uni-Lan Group-Juni-Lanan Shiping LLC. Currently, his CEO and nominal beneficiary - the Talate Imirov, which officially lives on Griboyedov Street in Almaty in Kazakhstan. Vladimir Vladimirovich was nominally (until 2019).
Volodymyr Klimenko is now the "signator" LLC "Laman Invest Group", registered in Bilyaivka of Odessa region. The founder and ultimate beneficiary of the company is Liliya Atamanyuk. Klimenko headed Liliya Atamanyuk in 2021, when Uni-Laman Group once again transferred his corporate deck. Earlier, the CEO of "Laman Invest Group" was a kind of Berezlev Sergey. He was headed by Argo Translogistics LLC, registered in Odessa on a military descent, 12. There, where other Uni-Laman Group structure was "nesting".
Through the lawyer, Grizan Olesya Petrovna "Laman Invest Group" registered his own brand. The same lawyer also registered trademarks for the above mentioned above "Laman Shipping" and "Laman Trans-Express". These circumstances are mentioned to emphasize that the "Laman Invest Group" has a connection with the UNI-LAMAN GROUP holding. Why?
On March 17, 2016 in Bilyaevka, Odessa region was killed by an "authoritative businessman", a local policy of Mykola Atamanyuk, apparently, a relative of the current beneficiary of Laman Invest Group LLC. Obviously, not only because of the coincidence of the names-the media was called the owner of some freight forwarding company "Laman"
The killer released several balls in Atamanyuk and was able to escape. However, for a short time - the killer (he was the former military Alexander Shilyaev) caught and tried. From the beginning, the murder was considered as custom, but Swylyaev once convinced the investigation and the court that his assassination was pushed by his personal dislike. Instead of life, he received 12 years in prison, and the customer of the murder dissolved in the air.
The murder of one of the beneficiaries is far from the only criminal episode in the history of Uni-Laman Group. Which explains regular changes in registration, management and nominal founders.
In particular, LLC "Laman Shipping" has been in the investigation of a tax on a large-scale criminal tax evasion. This company is mentioned in the SBU case of 2020 about smuggling to Ukraine anabolic steroids from China. "Laman Shipping" in the case appears Odessa Auriga Ltd, which was previously called "Young-Orient Shipping" and also had a direct relationship with the Uni-Laman Group.
Laman Shiping Ageny LLC was mentioned in another case as a customs broker in the scheme of illegal import of a large batch of tobacco. This is the LLC in criminal proceedings on the grounds of official forgery, abuse of power and evasion of taxes in particularly large amounts. Also, Laman Shiping Ageny is in the case of illegal export of timber.
Another holding company-"Laman Trans-Express"-was accused of financial fraud, concealment of profit, payment of salaries with "black lots" in envelopes, non-payment of taxes, non-payment of wages and other sins last year.
But the most interesting in the context of criminal cases of Juni-Orient Shiping Ageny LLC, which the founding parents of the UNI-Laman Group Holding from sin were renamed and stuffed into the Dnieper.
In 2011, on November 21, shots were fired in Odessa. The victim of the killer was 43-year-old Igor Hatyushenko. The deceased was a former customs officer who at that time became an actual monopolist on customs clearance of import-exports in the Odessa region. Then attempts to clear the goods through brokers not under the control of Hatyushenko, the customs itself blocked.
From the beginning, even in the Chechen mafia. It was not until 2013 that the investigation decided to look at those who won from the death of Igor Hatyushenko-began to collect cream for customs clearance in the Odessa region. According to the materials of the court register, most investigators are interested in LLC "Youni-Orient Shipping Ageny".
The law enforcement officers have not been able to find evidence of the participation of the beneficiaries or management of the company in the murder of Hatyushenko (this crime has not yet been opened). However, when working out the version on the involvement of "Juni-Orient Shipping Ageny" investigators found out that [quote]: "In order to reduce the customs value of goods, the officials of the specified enterprise during the customs clearance They change the country of origin of the goods, use counterfeit quality and dignity certificates for cargo, make non -complete information about the quantity, value and type of goods in customs declarations. "
However, these like other reproaches were not proven in court. Moreover, no case of Uni-Laman Group has come to court. It seems that the same will be charges in cooperation with the invaders.
The obvious connection of the Uni-Lan Group Holding with Russia (if you do not take into account the end of the reference on the Internet) passed through Panama Shipping Ink-nominal beneficiary of Novorossiysk Inter Logistics LLC, which in 2016, after the murder of Nicholas, Nicholas Divaniuk. The actual liquidation of the Odessa "Youn-Orient Shipping Ageny", "Riden" of which was also "Sicks Shipping Ink", this connection was cut off. At least de jure. It should be noted that this happened in the second half of 2021, when the National Security and Defense Council already generously imposed personal sanctions for relations with the Russians. And so many companies were convincing their Russian traces.
Another question has changed the real ultimate beneficiary "Sicks Shipping Ink"? If not, it would prove the presence of Uni-Laman Group in Russia. Accordingly, the payment of taxes to the budget of the carina-aggressor from which the war against Ukraine is financed.
However, the corporate structure of the Uni-Laman Group, as well as Russian companies that could be associated with the holding, does not allow you to say with certainty who actually stands behind it. For example, Gennady Sorochinsky, who in recent years plays the role of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uni-Laman Group and the final beneficiary of Laman Shipping LLC, had virtually nothing to do with logistics. He is a lawyer. After the murder of Mykola Atamanyuk, all the affairs of "Laman Shipping" is managed by his director Vyacheslav Borovsky.
Vyacheslav Borovsky once managed to work as a CEO of another logistics holding from Odessa - PE "Polyis". The ultimate beneficiary of this legal entity is Oleksandr Valentinovich Zakharov, whose summary mentioned the work of the Director of the Group of Companies "Juni-Lan".
Given that the holding is regularly in the intricacies of dark things, it is not surprising that its true final beneficiaries prefer not to glow.
