The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine directs significant funds to strengthen the energy infrastructure of the country under constant Russian attacks. According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the government has already allocated more than UAH 10 billion to strengthen the protection of the power system, especially in the frontal regions that suffer the most from shelling.
"Energy infrastructure is constantly under Russian shelling. The frontal regions are especially suffering. In order to minimize damage, we will implement the construction of protection systems around energy objects. This is a priority task for each region. The government has directed to strengthen the protection of the power system over UAH 10 billion."
The head of government personally visited Zaporozhye, where he got acquainted with the condition of one of the energy facilities, which was damaged as a result of a Russian blow. The Prime Minister stressed that the government is working on increasing the stability of the power system to ensure its smooth operation even in aggression.
Projects of construction of protective structures will be implemented on the allocated funds to help minimize damage to energy infrastructure. This includes the strengthening of energy facilities and the introduction of new protection technologies aimed at reducing the risks of destruction and ensuring stable power supply to the population and enterprises.
Protection of energy infrastructure is key to ensuring the functioning of the economy and life of citizens, especially in winter. The government emphasizes that strengthening the power system is one of the main directions in counteracting the consequences of Russian aggression.
