1.5 billion hryvnias will be aimed at financing the local budgets of the frontline territories and communities that have been significantly negatively affected by full -scale aggression of Russia.
This was reported on the official portal "Decentralization", noting that the funds will help ensure the full execution of the powers of local self -government bodies in difficult conditions. The distribution of additional grants was carried out in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers No. 23 of January 14, 2025. The main criteria were the actual tax revenues to local budgets for the first quarter of 2025: UAH 416.8 million - will receive regional budgets of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and 161 territorial community; UAH 539.0 million for 135 communities, depending on real estate, land and single tax revenues.
The balance of funds in the state budget under this article - UAH 23.8 billion (out of UAH 36.53 billion for 2025), so further community financing is ongoing.
