Belgian law enforcement officers found envelopes with a toxic substance - Brutsin, in several government agencies in Brussels, in particular in the Ministry of Justice.
Yasmina Vanweersheles from the Brussels Prosecutor's Office reported that police services received a warning after revealing powder envelopes in various institutions. The detected white powder contained Brucin, which is dangerous when it enters the body, but contact with the skin is not dangerous.
It is noted that the envelopes were found in the office of the head of the Ministry of Justice, the Palace of Justice and in one of the offices of the State Security of Belgium.
The prosecutor's office reported that the investigation was ongoing to determine who sent these letters and what motives. Previous results show that these facts have nothing to do with the attacks that have occurred in Brussels in recent days.
