In the light of aggravation of the conflict in Ukraine, the US and Australia's governments called on China to use their influence on Russia to facilitate the end of the war. This call was an next step in a series of diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping aggression and stabilizing the situation in the region.
The parties reportedly condemned the war against Ukraine and again called on the Russian Federation "immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw their troops from the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine." The Kremlin also called for the damage caused to Ukraine, noting that Russia is obliged to do so in accordance with international law.
Diplomatians expressed support for peace in Ukraine and confirmed the need to achieve a fair, comprehensive and strong peace in accordance with the UN Charter.
"They called on everyone who has an impact on Russia, especially China, to make efforts to end the war and to stop supporting the Russian defense-industrial base. They confirmed their position according to which those who support the illegal war of Russia will encounter the consequences, and again declared their intention to increase the costs of the state.
The heads of the Foreign Ministry and defense of the two countries strongly condemned the growing partnership between the DPRK and Russia, including the continued supply of weapons by Pyongyang in the Russian Federation. Also, it is reported that the possibility of obtaining or expanding the DPRK of political, economic, technological or military support from Russia was concerned.
