In Poland, the referees of the Champions League match were detained for a drunken brawl

On August 6, the Polish police detained three people suspected of stealing the road sign. As it became known, two of them are football arbitrators, which led to their removal from the important match of the Champions League.

Detained - Bartosh Frankovsky, who was to be a Var arbitrator, and Tomash Musal, an arbitrator assistant at a match between Dynamo and Rangers. According to the Polish edition of TVP Sport, the level of alcohol in the blood of Frankivsk was about 1.7 ppm, and Musal - 1.8 ppm. Both referees were placed in the sober.

Through this incident, UEFA decided to remove Frankivsk and Musal from participating in the third round of the Champions League qualification between Dynamo and Rangers. Instead, a new head arbitrator Var Tomash Kwiatkovsky and the assistant of Pavel Males were appointed for the match.

Recall that the match between Dynamo and Rangers will begin at 21:00 in Kiev. The winner of this game in the next round of the Champions League will meet with the winner of the couple "Salzburg" (Austria) - Twente (Netherlands).

It is still unknown what punishment is waiting for Frankivsk and Musal from UEFA.
