After the Easter holidays, the F-16 fighters are expected to arrive in Ukraine. On May 1, the speaker of the Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash announced this on May 1. He noted that the exact dates of the aircraft supply are currently unknown.
According to Yevlash, the date of arrival of the F-16 has changed several times, so the air forces are planning to adapt to the obtained.
Answering the journalist's questions about the expected time of arrival of the F-16 to Ukraine, Yevlash replied: "After Easter", which is celebrated in Ukraine on May 5. He also noted that the air forces are refrained from the definition of specific terms, since this date has changed several times. In response to the question of direct supply, he said it depends on the highest military-political leadership. "When the planes come to Ukraine, we will definitely inform you," Yevlash said.
