Today, on February 8, a meeting with font designers at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy was held. The main topic of discussion was the development of a unique Ukrainian font intended for business documentation. In the online meeting took part. at. "Creating a Ukrainian national font is a pressing need. Our goal is simple: we have to update the headset for business documents such as orders, orders, laws and others. Now Times New Roman meets these needs, but we strive to have something more original and modern," - emphasized. at. minister.
The participants of the meeting noted that there are already at least four fonts in Ukraine, developed by local designers that can be used in documents.
After discussion, the experts decided to form a wide list of offers divided into two groups: fonts for text and headings - for decorative registration of official documents.
Further, experts will choose the two or three best headsets and offer them for use in public authorities. It is planned that over time, the new font will become the standard throughout the country's business community.
