Valery Kharchyshyn told about his son's service in the Armed Forces

Valery Kharchyshyn, the leader of the famous Ukrainian band "Divy River", shared his personal details about the service of his eldest son Dmitry in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the lack of military experience, Dmitry decided to become a saper and from the very beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia voluntarily joined the defenders of the country.

27-year-old Dmitry Kharchyshyn graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and initially did not intend to associate his life with military service. He even believed that having weapons was a manifestation of human dullness, because it serves to destroy others. However, despite this, the guy decided to take responsibility and went to the front. He served as Saper in the north direction, where he performed complex and dangerous tasks.

Now Dmitry not only continues the service, but also teaches new specialists in officer courses, passing on to them his knowledge and experience. His example is inspired by many young people who seek to help the country in this difficult time.

Valery Kharchyshyn also spoke about the pain that the war brought to his family. He recalls that his son went to the front with a friend who died in battle. In addition, the brother of the musician who was mobilized was seriously injured and cannot serve. According to Valery, the war took away many loved ones - friends, acquaintances, neighbors and classmates.

"It was very painful when my son went to fight with his friend who died," the frontman shared. At the same time, he expressed pride in his son and all Ukrainian families who do everything possible to protect the country.
