The Vatican has come up about changes in the state of pope health

The health of the Pope Francis, who is in hospital for almost a week through bilateral pneumonia, demonstrates some improvement. As reported in the Vatican on February 20, the pontiff has no higher temperature, and its blood tests remain stable.

During the day, the Pope was engaged in his work. The day before, the Vatican reported that Francis spent a good night, got out of bed in the morning and had breakfast in his chair. The chairman of the Catholic Bishops of Italy (CEI) Cardinal Matteo Maria Dzuppi expressed the optimism on the recovery of Pontif: "We all worry about the Pope, but the fact that he had breakfast, read newspapers and accepted visitors, means that we are on the right way to full recovery."

On Wednesday after lunch, Italy Prime Minister George Meloni visited the Pope in hospital. According to her, he did not lose a sense of humor and joked, as always. She also gave him the wishes of a speedy recovery on behalf of the entire Italian people.

Earlier, the Vatican reported that computed tomography confirmed the beginning of bilateral pneumonia, which struck both pulmonary wings. The infection has a complex course due to the presence of several pathogens, which complicates the treatment process. Nevertheless, doctors observe the positive dynamics of Pope Francis' health.
