Defense Minister of Great Britain, Grant Chapsa, has announced the government's plans to increase the defensive sphere expenditures to 2.5% of GDP. Turning to other democratic countries, he urged to join this direction, noting that this year would be extremely dangerous and would demand resistance to "irrational" states.
The Minister has expressed this during a broadcast through the H. H.
Chapsa indicated that London should increase the cost of the defense sphere, renewing nuclear restraint forces and replenishment of stocks due to extraordinary instability in the world. He also noted the role of Great Britain in the protection of international navigation, giving an example of Hussites in Yemen, jointly conducted with the United States.
The Minister informed that 20,000 servicemen will be allocated to participate in NATO training in Europe, which will take place in the first half of this year, using warships and fighters.
Recently, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Richa Snak have signed a bilateral security agreement that will remain valid until Ukraine's accession to NATO.
