The US Supreme Court will decide whether to allow Trump to participate in the election

Next week, a key trial involving former President Trump will begin in the United States. The country's Supreme Court will decide whether the participation of the former head of state in the upcoming elections should be allowed or rejected.

The first meeting is scheduled for January 8.

Earlier, the state of Colorado had already decided not to allow Trump to participate in the Republican primary because of his role in the storming of the Capitol three years ago.

Trump continues to be accused of involvement in the events, but he refuses to admit guilt. The former president appealed to the Supreme Court, emphasizing his innocence.

If Trump wins the Supreme Court, he cannot be disqualified from participating in future elections across the country (similar cases are currently pending in other states).

Experts believe that Trump's chances of winning the Supreme Court are high.
