DTEK, together with the British Octopus Energy Group, announced the launch of an initiative aimed at installing roofing solar power plants and energy accumulation systems for Ukrainian businesses and public sector institutions. The DTEK press service reports.
The project involves attracting financing of 100 million euros, which will be aimed at the implementation of 100 projects throughout Ukraine. The purpose is to support consumers who are Yasno customers by giving them the opportunity to use renewable energy sources and to optimize consumption.
Solar power plants and storage systems will be installed directly on customer facilities, and their management will be carried out through the Kraken platform from Octopus Energy Group. This platform will allow real -time businesses and institutions to track and optimize their energy consumption, reducing the load during peak needs. In addition, excess energy will be sold back to the network, which will provide additional savings.
With this project, Ukrainian businesses and government agencies will significantly reduce the dependence on the centralized energy network, reducing electricity costs and facilitating environmental initiatives in the country.
