During November this year, more than 6,000 servicemen returned to the service, who had previously left their military units. This testifies to the positive dynamics in the process of voluntary return to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (HSC).
The voluntarily returning military will be credited to the reserve battalions, from where they will already be distributed by units. It is important that for those who have left the service for the first time, a grace period has been set: they can return to the service to another military unit until January 1 is not criminally liable. However, returning will only be possible to "identified military units", which will optimize the distribution of personnel.
In the event of a mass return of the military from unauthorized leaving the part, the Armed Forces command monitors this process. If a significant outflow of personnel is revealed due to the careless performance of the duties by the unit commander, they may be held to disciplinary responsibility, including a decrease in position or rank, or transfer to lower staff positions.
The process of returning the military, especially in the conditions of war, is an important aspect of the stability of the Armed Forces. Therefore, the command continues to take steps to ensure high discipline among personnel and responsibility of commanders for the state of affairs in units.
