The Europeans do not have free Patriots for Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the West for refusing to transfer more air defense systems to Kyiv. At the summit in Vilnius, he even declared that "Ukraine has fallen into a routine": it suffers missile attacks, asks for air defense, receives promises, but supplies fail.

"The reality should finally match the words," Zelenskyi believes.

Financial Times sources report that Kyiv expects to receive air defense from Spain, Poland and Romania, but admits that it will not be easy. The publication even states that "European capitals no longer plan to send systems to Ukraine", referring to the "need to preserve their own defense capability".

For example, this is how the Defense Ministry of Germany responded, which previously handed over 2 Patriot systems to Kyiv. The Poles also state that they cannot transfer new systems, as they are still waiting for deliveries from the US, but are studying the possibility of transferring Soviet systems.
