The Premier League's VIP box in Manchester will have its own pool and views of the River Thames

Football matches have long become not only a sporting event, but also a place for luxurious rest and entertainment. And soon, one of the most exclusive places to watch matches in Great Britain will appear - a Premier League VIP box with its own pool and a view of the River Thames.

Fulham FC has been renovating the Riverside Stand in Manchester since 2019. And he showed the project of the VIP box, which will be located on the new tribune. This will probably be the most luxurious box for watching a football match. And will cost £2,500 a night. The Daily Mail writes about it.

The team from West London has been in the process of renovating this part of the stadium for several years, its opening was originally supposed to take place in 2021, but it was delayed.

And in the new plans, which describe in detail what the rest of the stand will look like, "Fulham" presented a hospitality area, full of glamor and luxury.

Among the amenities on offer, those who choose this box will have views of the Thames, two Michelin-starred restaurants and a rooftop pool, while the hospitality area will be one of the most expensive in English football.

Fulham chairman Shahid Khan, whose NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars have similar hospitality features at their Everbank Stadium in Florida, said it would provide a "premium experience unlike anything else in football".

The three upper floors of the new Riverside stand will be dedicated to the so-called The Sky Deck.

The two Michelin-starred restaurants will be called The Gourmet and The Brasserie.

The Gourmet Restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a four-course a la carte menu with champagne, fine wine and cocktails.

Meanwhile, The Brasserie will have two options for customers: a view of the Thames and a view of the football field.

There are also plans for a new "intimate football experience" called The Dugout, which will allow fans to sit directly behind the coaches.

The projects were developed by Populous, the same architects who designed Tottenham's new stadium and various other entertainment venues, including the Sphere in Las Vegas.
