President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced an increase in pensions since spring. He stated this on February 4 in his evening address after the NSDC meeting with the participation of government officials.
"Important: already ready for the spring with the indexation of pensions, it will be from March 1," he said. The President emphasized that "at least it would be difficult, we find money to help all Ukrainians, Ukrainian producers."
Zelensky also mentioned the program "Equity". According to him, almost UAH 13 billion was paid directly to Ukrainian families within it.
"The number of participants in the program proves the importance of similar programs of direct support of people.
The President also noted that during the NSDC meeting they discussed the key issues of financial stability of Ukraine and financial discipline.
In addition, the Government of Ukraine for the period of martial law in 2025 limited the payment of special pensions, the amount of which exceeds UAH 23.61 thousand (10 subsistence minimums for persons who have lost their capacity). Appropriate reduction ratios were introduced for such payments.
