WHO accuses Israel of attacks on their objects in Gaza

The World Health Organization (WHO) has accused Israel's army of attacks on its facilities in the Gaza Sector, including headquarters and employees. About it reports The Guardian on Tuesday, July 22.

According to information, the Israeli forces have struck several strokes on buildings related to WHO activities in gas. In particular, it is about the headquarters of the organization and a residential block, which lived employees and their families.

It is also reported that during the raids, the military detained four people - two WHO staff and two members of their families. Three of them were later released.

According to WHO, during the detention, representatives of the organization suffered psychological pressure and interrogations under the threat of weapons. At the same time, the humanitarian situation in the region continues to deteriorate: in Gas, there is an acute lacking in fuel, medicines and medical resources, which in fact paralyzes the work of the health care system.

The organization emphasizes that attacks on humanitarian structures and violations of their integrity are contrary to international law and pose additional threats to the civilian population.
