Exposure of volunteers who sold 600,000 rubber aid

In Nikolaev, a group of people who sold humanitarian aid in the amount of more than 600 thousand hryvnias were exposed. Four suspects, including a charitable organization and a local entrepreneur, organized the illegal sale of products provided by the UN World Food Program. Instead of passing assistance to the needy, they removed precious products from the packages, removed the marking "not for sale" and recapated them for sale on the market.

During the searches, law enforcement officers seized about 2,000 food diets, more than 6,800 boxes and 200 bags of products, as well as 16,000 cans and almost UAH 5 million. The total amount of confirmed sales is over UAH 600 thousand.

The person involved in the case was informed of suspicion of illegal use of humanitarian aid for personal enrichment. The court chose them a pre -trial detention measure with the possibility of bail. Law enforcement officers continue to identify other persons involved in the crime.
