The National Commission for State Regulation in the field of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and provision of postal services (NCEC) has announced the completion of the transition to a 4G network in Ukraine by 2025, which provides for a rejection of 3G. Mobile operators will start off their 3G networks in 2025 to free up space for a faster and more efficient 4G relationship.
- The NCEC will provide maximum information on 3G switching off in their regions.
- 3G shutdown will not affect basic services such as calls or SMS.
- To ensure a quick Internet, it is important to switch to 4G now, especially the owners of old devices that support only 3G.
- Only 3G smartphone owners are advised to replace the device with a more modern one that supports 4G.
