Ukrainian border guards demonstrated their commitment to the country's security by discovering a Russian cache in the de-occupied territory of Kharkiv Oblast. According to the information of the State Border Service of Ukraine, fighters of the Kramatorsk detachment discovered an enemy ammunition depot.
In the cache, which was under the control of the Russian occupiers, 13 shells for self-propelled artillery installations (SAU), ammunition for tanks and a 220 mm rocket for the BM-27 "Hurricane" missile and artillery complex were discovered.
The received ammunition was handed over to one of the brigades of the Defense Forces of Ukraine for further "return" to the previous owners. This case is another example of the importance of close surveillance and border control to ensure the security of the nation.
Ukrainian military units continue to identify and eliminate possible threats on the territory of the country, showing a high level of readiness and efficiency in ensuring national security.
