How 11 glasses of water a day will affect health

Everyone knows about the need to consume enough water per day. However, what if you increase this recommended rate to 11 glasses daily for 30 days? The results of this experiment were told by journalist Anna Garper from Health.com.

Anna decided to increase the amount of water consumed from the recommended 2 to 2.7 liters a day, which corresponds to 11 cups. At the same time, it did not take into account tea, coffee or juices, which also contain water.

"I have not felt any serious changes in my health after 30 days of drinking more water. However, I noticed some improvements, in particular in achieving my goals, as well as the general advantages of more regular water consumption," the journalist said.

The first purpose of the experiment was to develop a habit of drinking water throughout the day and maintain a constant level of hydration. This is most reflected in her physical activity, especially during evening training. "I felt that it improved my endurance and comfort during workouts. Even on hot yoga, I needed to drink only half a bottle of water, while I usually finished it during class," Anna shares.

She also noted that the days when she did not consume enough water before the workout were much heavier and it was more difficult to focus on classes.

Another purpose of the experiment was to reduce headache. Anna noticed that with increasing water intake, the headache began to worry less. "It is strange, but the use of water also improved my sleep. I woke up before you drink water, and now I sleep quietly without the need to get up," she emphasized.

Although the journalist did not notice a significant increase in the overall energy level, she acknowledges that regular water consumption has improved her well -being and hydration.

"From my experience, the use of sufficient water is to prevent the negative effects of dehydration rather than additional health promotion. Constant moisture can help your body better function, which leads to improving endurance during training and better concentration," Harper states.

According to Anna, the level of hydration can be maintained not only through water, but also with other liquid drinks, such as juices and coffee, as well as balanced nutrition with fruits and vegetables, which helps maintain the balance of water in the body.
