The National Cashback program, which has been operating in Ukraine for half a year, continues to gain popularity among citizens and businesses. It has become an important tool for maintaining domestic demand for Ukrainian products and stimulating the country's economy.
The program initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enables consumers to receive 10% compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian production goods. To do this, you need to buy products registered in the program. The maximum cashback amount that can be obtained in a month is 3 thousand hryvnias. The program covers 365 thousand names of consumer goods, including foods, drinks, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, household chemicals, building materials, medicines, medical products, baby products and more.
In order to participate in the program, you need to buy a product that is part of the Register of National Cashbek. Funds received as compensation can be spent on different purposes, such as: payment for services, charity, arbitrariness, purchase of military bonds, purchase of Ukrainian books and medicines. The program cooperates only with manufacturers that meet certain requirements: the availability of production facilities in Ukraine and a unique barcode on products. In addition, in order to participate in the program, the manufacturer must work on the general tax system.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, more than 1,700 Ukrainian producers have joined the National Cashbek program. The most registered participants are in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. Here are the top 10 regions with the highest number of manufacturers: Kiev-375 manufacturers, Dnipropetrovsk region-180, Kharkiv region-156, Kyiv region-137, Lviv region-137, Odesa region-88, Poltava region-72, Vinnytsia region-58, Cherkasy region-56, Ternopil region-52.
The National Cashbek program has become part of a broader Cabinet initiative aimed at maintaining domestic demand and development of domestic production. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said the government has been sending an additional UAH 1.6 billion to support programs, including “National Casheke”. These funds are aimed at compensating for the products of the Ukrainian industry, stimulating production and creating added value in Ukraine.
The National Cashback program is an important step towards supporting the Ukrainian manufacturer and stimulating the country's economy in war. It not only allows to maintain domestic demand for domestic goods, but also facilitate the financial burden for citizens, providing discounts on products manufactured in Ukraine. Thanks to this initiative, more and more Ukrainians are involved in supporting the national economy, while gaining benefits from the purchase of goods that are part of the program.
