Ukraine is moving to a new principle of drawing up electricity shutdowns, which will minimize the inconvenience for the population. According to the director of the Center for Energy Research Alexander Kharchenko, a key change is to divide queues into a subgroup. This allows you to leave with light hundreds of thousands of subscribers who have previously been switched off.
Earlier, if you needed to limit a certain power, the energy was forced to disconnect the whole queue, even if it exceeded the required volume. For example, 400 MW was switched off by 250 MW to reduce the capacity, which causes tens of thousands of subscribers to be avoided without light. Oleksandr Kharchenko explained on two parts Kyiv24 This allows you to more accurately adjust the shutdown volumes and reduce the switching time to 30 minutes. "If 2 queues have been switched off in Kiev, it has been affected by 50-100 thousand people. Thanks to the division of queues, it can now be avoided. This will certainly increase the comfort of consumers and make the power system more flexible," the expert said.
Updated shutdown schedules include more clear instructions for energy. They provide manual switching on objects, but with significant acceleration. All this allows you to reduce the time of lack of light in consumers. Oblenergo has developed a system that consumers will be guaranteed to receive electricity at least 3.5 hours a day. According to the new rules, six queues were divided into 12 groups, which provides greater uniformity in the distribution of electricity.
Yasno CEO Sergey Kovalenko noted that the new approach allows you to increase the number of hours with light to 56 per week, while the old schedules were only 38.
Since December 16, Ukrainians have been using updated shutdown schedules, which have been introduced on the basis of the NEC “Ukrenergo” decision. Their main goal is to reduce the load on the power system, while providing a fair and understandable approach to electricity distribution.
The new principle of shutdowns is an important step to stabilizing the situation in the energy sector, which should help citizens to pass a difficult winter with less loss.
