Ukraine's Air Force is ready to protect against Russian Zircon missiles using SAMP/T and PATROTOT systems. This was reported by Ilya Yevlash, a representative of the Ukrainian Air Force Command. He noted that more air defense systems (air defense) are required to protect effectively.

Yevlash noted that in addition to the Patriot system, Ukrainian armed forces can use the SAMP/T complex to reflect ballistic missiles. However, he stressed that the fight against balistics is a difficult task and requires additional effort.

As for the speed of the Zircon missile, Yevlash explained: “These are supersonic weapons at a speed of about 8-9 sting. However, when it moves to a shock trajectory, its speed decreases to a perm -level level, about 4.5 mac. At this point, we can use our anti -air complexes such as SAMP/T and PATROTOT. "
