On March 27, a summit of "Coalitions of those" was held in Paris, which identified three key areas of further development of relations between Ukraine and Europe. The adviser to the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak spoke about the results of the meeting on the air of the Talemaphone, emphasizing that Europe is beginning to develop its own security architecture, which Ukraine will become an integral part of Ukraine.
- Europe creates its own defense complex
European countries seek independent development of the military-industrial complex to reduce the dependence on the supply of weapons from third countries, in particular on the United States. Investments in armored vehicles, aviation, missile systems and missiles will be a priority for the EU.
- Ukraine is an integral part of European security
Kyiv will play a central role in the new European Security Architecture. This requires active investment and coordination by European partners. Ukraine, together with European countries, will work on the development and use of the latest military technologies.
- Urgent action
The development of the defense complex and the integration of Ukraine into the European Security System cannot be delayed for years. The question is urgently needed to change approaches today.
In addition to new strategic initiatives, the summit involves reformatting and a significant increase in the number of military people in the Armed Forces. If before the full -scale invasion of the Ukrainian army was determined by other realities, now the need for expansion is obvious.
The increase in the Armed Forces will be accompanied by the modernization of technology. According to Podolyak, the Ukrainian army should be provided with modern weapons, which meets the standards of European partners.
A special issue at the summit was a significant increase in military assistance packages from partner countries. Each state will independently determine how much financial support Ukraine can expect. In addition, European countries are actively investing in military production, which will contribute to changes in the global weapons market.
