In November 2024, the Chinese national currency, Yuan, rose to one position in the global rating of currencies in terms of use in international payments. Yuan became the fourth currency in the world, with a share of 3.89%, which is a significant increase compared to October (2.93%). It happened after Japanese Yen, whose share decreased from 3.91% to 3.44%, gave way to the fifth position.
There were no changes in the three most popular currencies for international payments: the first place is the US dollar, the second - the euro, and the third - the pound sterling. According to SWIFT monitoring, the share of the dollar increased to 47.68%, compared to 47.04% in October. At the same time, euro and pounds have decreased to 22.29% and 7.27%, respectively.
