As part of the Eosel Mortgage Mortgage Program, the first loan for the purchase of a private home was approved, the Ministry of Economy reports. The family from Uzhgorod, which was forced to move to Transcarpathia due to the beginning of the war, became the first recipients of this type of funding.
On Friday, February 9, the Oschadbank Branch in Uzhgorod concluded the first agreement to buy a private home within the Eosel program. The couple chose a house of 82.8 square meters in Uzhgorod itself.
Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko noted that this year the Eosel program was expanded, and now under its terms it is possible to get a loan not only for the apartment, but also for a private house. It is noted that the first such credit was received by a family from Uzhgorod at a rate of 7%.
Within the framework of the program, loans for the purchase of housing for more than 7,200 families for a total amount of UAH 11 billion have already been provided. Most recipients are representatives of professional groups who are given a preferential mortgage at a rate of 3%:
- 62% - contract servicemen and security officers of security structures,
- 11% - educators and scientists,
- 9% are healthcare professionals.
Another 18% of persons involved in the program are Ukrainians who do not have their own housing or want to improve their living conditions. They received a loan under the conditions of mass mortgage at 7%.
On January 29, Ukrainians have the opportunity to choose private homes with an area of 62.5 square meters per person, with an additional 21 square meters per family member at a rate of 7% per annum.
