Baked pumpkin can be a great garnish for any main course. It is especially well combined with pork not only because of a beautiful taste combination, but also because the pumpkin does not contain starch, which balances the fat and severity of pork. Today I offer a recipe for salty garnish from pumpkin.
Ingredients:
Pumpkin - 500 g
tomato puree - 1 tbsp. spoon
garlic - 2 cloves
dried basil
Olive oil
salt
pepper
How to cook:
Peel the pumpkin and seeds, then cut it into large pieces or cubes.
Preheat olive oil in a pan and add a pumpkin. Fry the vegetables over medium heat until golden.
Add all the spices, tomato puree, crushed garlic, mix the ingredients well and cook for another minute.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Transfer the pumpkin to baking and add some water to the bottom. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
The finished pumpkin can be decorated with basil or sesame.
