Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Dmytro Tyshlek, resigned of his own accord

Deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine, Dmytro Tyshlek, resigned at his own request, as he reported in a comment for RBC-Ukraine. Tyshlek confirmed his decision to write a report on dismissal and submitted it to management for signature. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, also confirmed that Tyshlek's report was accepted.

In his comment, Tyshlek noted that he is waiting for the results of the SBI (State Bureau of Investigation) investigation, which was launched at his request. The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) is also being audited.

The situation with Tyshlek became acute after an investigation by Bihus.Info, in which it was claimed that Tyshlek's wife did not get rid of her Russian passport, and he himself uses real estate and a car belonging to a partner of a criminal group. Tyshlek noted that the facts from his biography were distorted and initiated an investigation of his case at the State Security Bureau.

Due to unpleasant circumstances, the Ministry of Internal Affairs removed Tyshlek from performing his duties. Tyshlek's decision to resign shows his responsibility and desire to settle the situation in the context of the accusations leveled against him in the press.
