President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Garen during his visit to Oslo. Leaders discussed the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense (air defense), supply of F-16 aircraft, artillery systems and ammunition, as well as possible investments in weapons production in Ukraine.
Zelensky thanked Norway for their significant support in various fields, including military, humanitarian and energy. He noted that Norway assistance was particularly valuable during the last three heavy winters for Ukraine.
“We'll never forget that. I want to discuss with you the situation on the front, diplomacy with the US and security guarantees, ”Zelensky said.
Leaders also discussed the opportunities for cooperation to achieve just and sustainable peace, as well as the creation of a common European plan that would strengthen Ukraine and Europe's security in general.
